New York City Genealogy
Protestant Episcopal Church Records
Below is a list of links to the pages found in the work, "Inventory of the Church Archives of New York City — Protestant Episcopal Church — Diocese of New York, volume II." This compilation, forth in a series that inventoried records of New York City churches, was part of the Historical Records Survey and published
in 1940. The Inventory of the Protestant Episcopal Church archives of New York City is composed of two volumes. Within the second volume, which we here present, you will find a historical sketch of the Protestant Episcopal Church, with background on its record system and its organization, as well as a description of the available records for each of the individual churches that then, or at one time, had been located in Bronx, New York and Richmond Counties (for Kings and Queens Counties, see volume 1 of this series).
